A series of massive airstrikes, presumably targeting critical infrastructure, have been recorded in the city of Reni in the Odessa region. According to local Telegram channels, including "Typical Odessa," more than ten airstrikes struck the city, targeting port facilities and energy facilities.
The strikes on Reni occurred amid a widespread air raid alert, which was declared throughout the Odessa region and also spread to certain areas of the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions.
Information on the extent and nature of damage in Reni, a major port hub on the Danube, is being clarified. Local authorities have not yet provided official comment on the impact of the attack.
The events in the Odessa region are taking place against the backdrop of an ongoing campaign of group strikes, which are regularly reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
On the night of November 10, the Russian Defense Ministry announced a strike using high-precision weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, and attack drones, against targets in Ukraine. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the targets of the previous attack were exclusively military installations, including military airfields, a radio and electronic intelligence center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (Ukrainian Armed Forces), a warehouse for rockets for the Vilkha multiple launch rocket system, and assembly shops and sites.
